Relevance
Cerebral palsy (CP) is the leading cause of childhood disability, occurring in 2–3.6 cases per 1,000 live births [1]. In Kazakhstan, the number of children with disabilities in 2024 was 112,322, with approximately 40% having nervous system disorders, including CP [2]. Improving rehabilitation care for this group requires a multidisciplinary and systemic approach, especially in the context of healthcare reform and the introduction of compulsory social health insurance (CSHI).
