Abstract
Neuropsychiatric disorders in children represent one of the leading problems in modern medicine, characterized by a steady increase in prevalence worldwide. Standard rehabilitation methods and pharmacotherapy often have limitations due to side effects and variability in treatment response. This article examines the effectiveness of a non-invasive neuromodulatory method – transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) – in medical practice. A review of international clinical data on the application of TMS in autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD), and cerebral palsy (CP) is presented. Furthermore, the results of our own retrospective study conducted at the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation (NCCR, Astana) are analyzed, showing a 27% increase in the effectiveness of standard rehabilitation when a TMS course is included. It is concluded that TMS is a safe and effective tool that creates favorable neurophysiological conditions for consolidating the rehabilitation effect.
