National Center for Children's Rehabilitation Showcases Kazakhstan’s Potential in Medical Rehabilitation at an International Roadshow in Baku
Baku, Azerbaijan, June 16–17
An international roadshow aimed at fostering cooperation in medical tourism and healthcare was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. The event was organized by Astana Development Center LLP.
The event was attended by Ms. Saya Amangeldikyzy, Managing Director of the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation (NCCR), who presented the Center’s capabilities and outlined prospects for developing international partnerships in the field of pediatric rehabilitation.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Mr. Bayel A.D., Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as by executives and representatives of leading medical organizations and clinics from Astana and Baku.
During the roadshow, a series of B2B meetings were held with representatives of healthcare institutions, medical tourism companies, and potential partners. Participants discussed opportunities for cooperation in medical rehabilitation, exchange of expertise, specialist training, implementation of joint educational and scientific projects, and possibilities for referring patients to receive specialized rehabilitation services.
The business program concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the NCCR and Aydin Partners LLC. The memorandum marks an important step in strengthening professional ties between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and opens new opportunities for expanding international collaboration in healthcare and medical tourism.
On the second day, the delegation visited two medical institutions in Baku — the Center of Biological Medicine and CitoMed Clinic. During the visits, participants became acquainted with the activities of the institutions and modern patient treatment technologies. The parties exchanged experience and discussed promising areas for future cooperation.
Participation of the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation in the international roadshow in Baku contributes to promoting Kazakhstan’s expertise in pediatric rehabilitation on the international stage and expanding the Center’s network of international partners.
